Your Girlfriend is a hard rock band of original tunes and covering a wide variety of rock classics as well as contemporary music. Influences include bands such as Led Zeppelin, Muse, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, and Shinedown.

Your Girlfriend formed 2008 in Douglasville, Georgia. Previously known as “Ice 9”, the group began as a hobby with occasional gigs at private parties. As performance opportunities grow, in 2010 the band focused their sites on writing and playing local club venues in and around the Atlanta area. The band’s name “Your Girlfriend”, was chosen due to its memorable and seemingly endless hyperbole jokes that reverberated in the minds of fans (example: “I saw Your Girlfriend last night…” or “Your Girlfriend rocked my socks off!” etc).

The metaphorical name depicts the unique and exciting playing style and experience the band delivers during its captivating and high energy performances. “Your Girlfriend” is a hard rock band of original tunes and covering a wide variety of rock classics as well as contemporary music. Influences include bands such as Led Zeppelin, Muse, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, and Shinedown. On occasion, the band plays “unplugged” with a variety of acoustic numbers done their way. Their live performances are often characterized by fans as a warm, “good time” feel with a heavy hard-rock sound.
